HareHill’s Running Amok SC
Catdog was Bunny’s very first puppy of her very first litter. From the beginning, his personality and attitude was awesome. He picked us.
He’s a goofy boy who’s always happy and on the go. He makes us laugh and feel good when he’s around – even when he misbehaves – like eating a wallet or leather jacket or a hat. During his first year, we never saw him sit still or lay down. He’s matured and will now lay down and rest. But he still walks around and wakes up the other dogs to play.
He may never see a show ring, but we can’t imagine our home without him.
Why did you call him “Catdog”?
We look for identifying marks to tell the puppies apart when they are very young. He has a mark on his back that resembles half a dog, similar to the half-dog, half-cat cartoon character of the same name. Of course this idea had it’s genesis in a couple of drinks. And of course, the name stuck. We often call him simply “Cat” (and somtimes kitty). He answers to both.

Lure Coursing!
It took Catdog a while to understand the why anyone would chase some white plastic bags around a field. He ran straight to the tree line and marked as many trees as possible during his first attempt at coursing. But 2 years later, the light bulb finally turned on and he got it. Now, he can’t wait to course and barks the entire time lure is moving. He loves it.
